How to export Shopify products to eBay

Mixtable is a versatile online spreadsheet platform that allows users to view and edit their Shopify product information in bulk, offering a seamless experience similar to Microsoft Excel. This article will guide you through the process of exporting your Shopify product data to eBay using Mixtable, by creating an eBay Export worksheet, exporting the worksheet as a CSV file, and uploading it to the eBay File Exchange portal.

Step 1: Creating an ‘Export to eBay’ Worksheet in Mixtable

1. Log in to your Mixtable account by visiting https://www.mixtable.com and entering your credentials.
2. Open the Mixtable workbook containing your Shopify product data.
3. Click on the ”+” icon located at the bottom of the screen to create a new worksheet.
4. Select the eBay Export Worksheet option.
5. Once it’s added, the worksheet will immediately start to populate with product information. The worksheet columns are the ones required by eBay, and Mixtable will populate them with your products’ information.
6. Export the worksheet to a CSV file

Step 2: Uploading the CSV File to the eBay File Exchange Portal

1. Log in to your eBay account and navigate to the eBay File Exchange page - https://bulksell.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?FileExchangeCenter.
2. Click on the “Upload Files” tab.
3. Choose “Select File” and locate the CSV file you exported from Mixtable.
4. Click “Upload” to initiate the upload process.
5. eBay will process the data from your CSV file, and if successful, create or update the corresponding product listings in your eBay account.
